the most awesome holidays ever.
i remember sometime during the early days of this holidays jeanette ms janet wrote something like she wanted a holiday boyfriend. (i'm not too sure where you wrote this jeanette refresh my memory please).
how funny i remember thinking 'now that's something i could do with too'.
every now and then the need for someone who cares so much and loves you just for you are becomes overwhelming. of course, i have so many friends who do anyway, without them being my boyfriend, and i am eternally grateful for these people. (i'm not too sure what i ever did to deserve you guys but i'm still grateful, and i love you all, really really)
but sometimes, this traitorous heart finds it inadequate. usually at moments when there's nothing better to do. which, thankfully, doesn't come by very frequently. that's why the holiday boyfriend thing, cos well, when you've more than three months without the demands of school, you have more idle moments.
but come to think of it, i haven't had that many idle moments these past few months. in the early days, it was meetups with all the lovely people in my life. the dancerfamily (minus liting sigh), the RAVIOLIs, preparation for wkwscifoc'09 (which i have to honestly admit i didn't contribute all that much sigh), family gatherings, DANCE and dancers, and many others. and then july drew closer, and it was FOC, and china.

this has been one of the most fulfilling holidays i've had ever. i've really really learnt a lot, about leading a group of people, about caring for others, about the chinese culture, how to adapt to things. i've done so many things that i've never done before, i've met so many new people. figured out diplomacy (to a certain extent), and been irresponsible (and very happily so).
and there's so much more i cannot name.
to think i wanted to get a job and destroy my holidays. i'm glad fate decreed that i should be unable to find one hahaha. and kudos to being single hahahaha ((:
time to start finding my footing. it's back to school on tuesday.
