except for the hair.
got my marilyn monroe inspired dress (ok fine i didn't get one i had it already), the pretty tiara, my shoes which i already had, and gloves to boot. damn cool i tell you i love the gloves.
we (the lovely ravi girls) went shopping today for dnd! we were supposed to you know leave school by 330 but somehow things kept dragging and dragging. and as nette and i were walking past the south spine bazaar intent on making our way to the bus stop, we say this blogshop. and other blogshops, which had set up booths just for the ntu freshie welcome thingy. in the end we got sidetracked, and i got a dress and a necklace. the dress is super nice i tell you i can't wait to go out and wear it ((:
and then when we finally managed to make our way to pioneer station and meet grace, junhua ended class. so we waited for her to make her way there before finally going to bugis, where aini joined us. we started with lychee martini ice cream at pluck before slowly making our way down ((:
i feel like i'm writing a primary school composition.
thereafter we finished combing haji lane, where nette bought a dress, junhua bought a dress, and the other two nothing. i was tempted by pretty earrings but i survived.
no. 1 costume was the best man. hall 2 dnd is awesome possum la. and they had US to help them choose the costumes which were so cool i cnt believe it. their pageant people are so lucky!
dinner at zam zam's omg one murtabuk FIVE people and we were all full. plus one kosong and one egg prata la.
onwards to bugis street and there jeanette finally bought her dnd dress. so she bought two dresses and one top today hahaha. grace is still fretting cos she didn't buy that pretty dress we saw.
so now most of us are all set (materialistically) for dnd. it's the hair part that's going to bother us now. sighhhhhh. thurs thurs after 207!! we will we will settle it (:
how exciting!!! ((:
spoke to someone today whom i didn't expect to be that nice to speak to. that was really pleasant. it wasn't even hard speaking to that person, when my impression was all iron will and imba zai-ness. i need to stop keeping such impressions of people, and let personal experiences decide who they really are.
I MISS YOU DAJIE AND LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR LAZY FRIDAY MORNING AT YOUR PLACE AGAIN! (:
