went down because we saw courts' advert in the papers yesterday for the Canon EOS 450D. the ad featured freebies of 8GB SD card, Dry box, tripod and something else, i cannot remember. when we went there, we were told 4GB card ONLY. so we mentioned the advert, and then the guy muttered something about not having stock for the dry box. then we insisted there was a tripod in the advertisment, then he grudgingly went to pretend pretend take out the list at the counter to check. then since, according to him, they don't have the dry box, he offered to replace with a THIRD PARTY BATTERY. what the hell. do i look like an idiot?? 

if COURTS doesn't mean what they advertise, DON"T advertise it. it gives a very bad impression to the customers, and leaves them very disatisfied and unwilling to ever return again.

and then there's the steam iron thing. my parents bought it on the understanding that the agent gives 1 year warranty, and so purchased an additional 4 year warranty from COURTS. so it's a 1+4 years thing. early this year, it broke down and cos it's the first year, we brought it to the agent. and were informed that this product ALWAYS had 3 years warranty from the agent. WTH. meaning COURTS intentionally lied to us about the warranty, and can actually save on 2 years of their promised warranty as it is STILL COVERED BY THE AGENT. when confronted with the evidence, the woman just offered to refund us the extra money we paid for the warranty. HELLO, IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY YOU NOOB. IT'S ABOUT HOW WE'VE BEEN CHEATED BY COURTS. 

enough. suffices to say i will never visit COURTS ever again.
