olympics closing, slackerism
yea well this couple of days have been multiple posts a day sort of day.
beijing olympics is officially over.
watching the flame get extinguished, i couldn't help but get emotional again. yea i always do that, don't feel surprised. i hate this sort of thing, like when campfires get extinguished, some event is over etc. and i've truly enjoyed this olympics.
more than 120 records broken.
michael phelps with EIGHT gold medals.
usain bolt with his disgustingly imba speed.
singapore with her first olympic medal in 48 years.
the rhythmic gymnastics competition- anna bessonova's hauntingly beautiful hoop routine, the fantastic group routines, the tears, the joy, the disappointment for italy, the exhilaration for russia.
diving competitions- pikes, tucks, somersaults
synchronised swimming. again, russia ruled it all. they're fantastic when it comes to beautiful sports like gymnastics and synchro.
artistic gymnastics- watching the highest of technique. the impossible balance beam routines, the bulging muscles of the male gymnasts while on the pommel horse...
well, i feel proud for the atheletes. don't you?
it's been a damn slack weekend. i haven't studied at all. i kept feeling twinges of guilt about it, but i just kept on slacking/going out/playing/doing other stuff. rawr.
shit la, at this rate i wun be able to make it. ok set. i'm going to work harder from this week onwards.
hey army daze is on arts central! ok off to watch haha
