17th April 2007 -is almost over.we went for assembly, listened to president election candidates do funny stuff on e bridge, got released. picked up our bags, and left for salt centre amidst good wishes. watching all the dancers clutching big shopping bags filled with costumes, makeup etc was funny indeed. got there, changed, started to lian gong. almost everyone put in extra effort, as kitty puts it, while demonstrating a normal battement tendu and a EXTRA effort battement tendu: usually is like that, but today was LIKE THAT. people put in extra effort to ensure that the conditioning gets to our bodies. and i appreciate it, even though i wish everyday was LIKE THAT for everyone. maybe we'll be even better dancers. buy anyway, the slot for practice went really quickly, before anyone knew it, it was time for lunch. makeup ics chiong like shit, and got ourselves done. eyeliner part of production line! wufan foundation, yanyin reg eyeshadow, sk me ltr on wufan eyeliner, lihong blusher, wangye lipstick. damn funny! and i'm proud to say that the eyeliner drawn by me were pretty and ENLARGED peoples' eyes! hoho! i am pro. even the challenging people turned out pretty! xx came, laoshi came, xie laoshi came. last runs, pu zhuang, and all too soon, it was time to go.ucc:familiar faces, youxin, jac, peixuan, suelynn, xinying, esther zhixu. LAOSHI. i miss the old times. but then we were ushered onto the stage, and the music started. and i panicked, cos there weren't lights. but then the spotlights came on, and i relaxed. the music started, and we all jst flowed. the dance was a part of me, the movements came naturally without thought, because it was so ingrained in me. the energy level was high, and we were qi. esp during the head thing. kimberly says that people in e audience that she was part of was gg "woah..." cos we were so qi and it was like black white black white black white... and then applause rang in my ears as we finished that part. phew. then we moved on... and energy level went right up, till kuaiban. and it went up still. and then the changed. a certain reluctance for the party to end. slowly, steadily... and then ended with an explosion of energy. i love.watched tj and yj. then came RJ. omg. they were e best today that we watched. the fans were genius was damn difficult to master. and we found ourselves holding our breath as they danced, esp at the end. their synchronisation was perfect. and then came nj. beautiful, energetic, yet flows so well. and i'm proud to see nycd dancers taking the lead parts in all the schs. liying, wufan, kong, xiao xinying, jac... nycd is like no other. and then island creamery. ONE TUB OF REVERS-O, ONE TUB OF NUTELLA, AND ONE SLICE OF MUDPIE. i died and went to heaven. of but guess who we found there already when we (liting liying kitty da shuhui minzhi hannah caryn and i) reached island creamery??? WUFAN AND REGINA sharing ONE WHOLE TUB. goodness. isn't it jst so expected of wufan??? hiaz.and home for nice nice dinner, albeit cold. and then i'm here.i'm tired. gg to put off that stupid gp ppt till tmr.results results results!!! TOMMORROW3 other schs did our dance. goodness y the coincidence. hopefully we imba-ed, in chinese high language. and overwhelmed them. well, we'll know tmr, wun we?but whatever it is, i'm glad to be in hccd. :Ddancers woosh!
